Screening of TELLING MATTRESSES STORIES
Jason and Ellie go on a Kafkaesque quest to keep a 3 day old mattress with a 90 day return policy out of a landfill.
Jason, Rob, and I made the short film TELLING MATTRESSES STORIES and it will be screening at NYC Independent Film Festival --
6pm on Fri 7 Jun 2024 at Producers Club Theaters on W 44th St. Tickets are $15.

Film Essay
I've been working on a new film essay with the working title Miyazaki's Beautiful Dream: The Technological Sublime.
It's CLOSE to done and coming soon to my YouTube. I’ll send another email when it’s done… hopefully by next week!
YouTube Channel
As part of the prep work for the new film essay, I cleaned up my YouTube channel a bit, and I realized that the Civilization Noir film essay had been blocked in almost every country due to a minor copyright issue… so I used Rob's nude, eternally music generator to create a replacement soundtrack and fixed this.

devlogs
A huge chunk of work on the new film essay has been voiceover, so I did a bunch of research on articulation and mouth warm-up exercises, and I even did some classes with a voice acting coach that my friend Leigh introduced me to.
I added a devlog on Voiceover, as well as one on Editing and one on Producing, and I added a ton of new items to my DaVinci Resolve devlog.
